RECYCLING PROJECT - OUR ON-GOING FUNDRAISER
Our recycling project is underway! We have partnered with Enviro-Smart in an
effort to raise funds for UCEMS and help protect the environment by
recycling used printer cartridges and cell phones (we still encourage you to
donate working cell phones to your local law enforcement agency or social
service agency if they participate in placing the phones with potential
victims of domestic abuse). Laser cartridges must be sent in special boxes. Please contact the
Coordinator if you have a need for boxes or want her to pick up the
cartridges from you.
Inkjet cartridges and cell phones should be sent in the provided plastic
return envelopes, however we receive more reimbursement for phones sent in
special boxes. You can request these or the plastic bags from the Coordinator, or you may see
them placed at businesses around Union County, either on rolls in a tower
shaped box, or on a hanging strip. Returning the cartridges is easy! All of
the boxes and the envelopes are already postage paid.
You can also participate without going through the coordinator. You can
request supplies for shipping and collecting cartridges directly through
Enviro-Smart and still help UC EMS. Just go to our recycling webpage to get
started, and THANK YOU for your support! Visit now at:

This project is not limited to Union County. If you have friends or family
that would like to participate, refer them to the above webpage, and we can
collect cartridges from all over the state - and country!
